LOVE YOUR HAIR! DONT EVER GO TO “HAIR TO GO SALON” AT ST FRANCIS ORTIGAS

DONT EVER EVER EVER GO TO HAIR TO GO SALON, ST FRANCIS ORTIGAS! I just had a VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. This may be long but I want to share to all of you my experience.

I visited this salon para samahan lang dapat ang friend ko na mag pa digiperm na kinuha nyang voucher. And since andun na rn ako, I thought na magpa rebond na ako since mejo wavy na hair ko. So the receptionist (Priscilla) gave me the price of Php2500 kasama na cellophane. Ung gumawa skn is si Jun (SENIOR HAIRSTYLIST DAW).  So ginawa na ung hair ko and ok nmn ung pagalis ko ng salon (kc xempre bnlower and iron ang hair ko). When I got home and checked my bag, I saw the receipt that Priscilla gave me, nkalagay dun “Permanent Blowdry + Mahogany Cellophane”. Dun pa lang nagtaka ako bkit ndi Rebond ang inilagay.

After 3 days pagkabanlaw ng hair ko, I was really shocked coz mas kumulot pa xa compared sa hair ko nung nagpunta ako dun, (NOTE: my hair is just wavy) so I called Jun and told him of what happened. I told him na ppunta ako ng 10am kinabukasan dun dahil may lakad ako sa hapon and so he agreed. Come 10am, WALANG TAO SA SALON, nauna pa ko sa nagbukas ng salon, and Jun was not even there yet! I  was really pissed off! 12NN pa dumating c Jun! Imagine my frustration (kulot ang hair, naghintay ng 2hrs para kay Jun, and may lakad ako ng hapon! and I need to sit for more than 5 hrs again to have my hair re-treated AGAIN! aargh!) I kept on asking the staff regarding the owner’s number, walang nagbibigay, wala daw sila contact number nun, which I find very odd kasi what if may mangyare sa salon, wala sila contact??! That’s BS! What they gave me is yung number nung isa pang receptionist named Lyn sa Skin Central (Sister Company ng Hair To Go and same yung owner). And also, I asked Priscilla why she put on the receipt “Permanent Blowdry” instead of Rebond, and even the name of the stylist na nakalagay dun is “Noel” not Jun. Sabi nya same lang naman daw kasi ang Permanent Blowdry sa Rebond. (Hello??! And why didn’t you just write rebond then??!) I asked her to change it to rebond and change the name of the stylist to “Jun”.

So when Jun arrived, ginawa nya uli buhok ko, he was giving me excuses and reasons na dahil daw sa chemicals ng hair ko kaya ndi kumapit ang gamot. I told him (and I even told this to him nung unang punta ko) na more than a year na yung last na rebond ko, and never naman ako nagpapacolor ng hair, so asan ang chemicals dun?! And this was not even my first time to have my hair rebonded, but this is the first time I got shocking results! AND I DIDN”T EVEN USE A VOUCHER PARA TIPIRIN NILA ANG BUHOK KO! I PAID THE REGULAR PRICE!

So after ng back job nya sa hair ko, he assured me na magiging ok na ang hair ko. I noticed din na mas marami na ung gnamit nya na gamot sa hair ko compared last time. (Yung gumawa sa hair ng friend ko told her na tinitipid daw talaga ang gamot dun) I told him that I dont want to see him again after 3 days. I also learned from them na masama daw ugali ng owner kasi grabe daw yung pagmumura sa kanila nun kapag may nagrereklamo. Which answered my question “WHY THEY DON”T HAVE THE OWNER”S NUMBER??!!”

After 3 days, eto na naman! Im soooooooooo disappointed and disatisfied and pissed off! Wavy pa rin ang hair ko??!! I called Lyn (from Skin Central) and I told her that I want my money back! And again, she told me that she doesnt have the number of the owner (BS AGAIN) but she told me that she will let the owner know of my concern since every night daw nagppunta ung owner sa salon. I told her to call the owner  right away coz I really want my money back, and that I dont believe that they dont have any contact number of the owner. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME! When I called again, it was Jun who answered and nakikipagtalo sya skn sa fone, he said na they will not give my money back kasi nung umalis daw ako ng salon, maayos daw ang hair ko. I told him na natural na maayos ang hair ko pagalis ko kasi nagblowdry and iron nya ang hair ko! And bakit daw nila ibibigay ang pera ko eh gumamit daw uli sila ng gamot for my back job! Sobrang irita talaga ko…

Now I’m left with my dry, wavy hair! All I want is my money back coz the result is definitely not even worth my money, not worth every penny!

BTW, yung friend ko na nagpa digiperm, babalik nya rin ang hair nya coz muka lang buhaghag ang hair nya pagkabanlaw. And this day babalik xa and suggestion nung “Noel” is irerebond na lng daw xa at no extra cost daw. (999 amount ng digiperm na voucher nya).

When my friend went there, she said that “Tin” (the owner) was there. So I immediately called Priscilla (receptionist) but I believe it was Jun who answered my call and said that Tin was not there. I told him that my friend is in your salon and she said to me that Tin IS there! and then I just hung up and called my friend’s phone so I can be passed on to Tin. and JUN again took the call from my friend’s phone and told me that Tin just passed by and already went out then passed the phone back to my friend. My friend swore it is really TIN because Jun and Lyn were explaining things to her and reasoning out on what happened, and even said that I was cursing Lyn! WHICH I NEVER DID!!! My friend approached the said “TIN” and asked her on what she can do about my situation, she said that “TIN” is abroad and that she is just the sister and HINDI DAW SYA NAKIKIALAM SA MGA NANGYAYARING GANUN SA SALON. I wonder ano ginagawa nya dun! And according to my friend mukhang antipatika din yung “Tin” na yun!

THIS SALON IS FULL OF UNPROFESSIONAL STYLISTS AND LIARS, EVEN THE OWNER! LOVE YOUR HAIR, DONT EVER GO TO THIS SALON! I’m not surprised anymore kung bakit nung second time na nagpunta ako dun which is Saturday, walang ka-tao tao regardless of their promo sa mga voucher.

I’ve learned my lesson. Now I’m sharing with all of you. Coz I dont think I can still get a refund of my money dahil lahat sila liars.

Now all I can do is wait for few more months para mapaayos ko uli hair ko, and I swear, I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO “HAIR TO GO SALON!!!”

    I was there oct 23rd and I avail the promo 999.00 digi perm. My stylist is Noel. He’ s keep on talking to me about where he’s from. And he told me about the rebond digiperm yung sa Reyes, sabi ko gusto ko ng ganon, and he told me na ako bahala syo… Sabi ko pwede ba yun? And he said oo pag NASA taas wala na silang pakeelam sa baba. So I’m so excited makukuha ko ung gusto. Anyway my hair is curly from the last digiperm. Maintenance ko LNG to. Back again… So he begin to cut my hair which is additional 200.00 ok, then he put the chemicals for rebond. After he’s done everything he told me that I don’t have to pay downstairs the 200.00 for the hair cut, I just need to pay him for 1,000.00 for rebond and hair cut. So I was shock as in nilagay Nya Muna yung gamot bago Nya ko sinabihan ng presyo. I keep my silence kasi he’s not yet done with my hair Baka mamurder ung hair ko. After nun Hindi digiperm yung ginawa sakin cold perm, Hindi daw kase pwede yung hair ko sa digiperm kase brittle pa from my last digiperm. I was so angry, I bought the voucher for digiperm and ang Gagawin cold perm… Ano pang magagawa ko mag wala eh yung chemicals NASA hair ko pa. So I keep my silence again. After everything I gave Noel the 1,000.00 and ask for the receipt if ever I have complains after, syempre walang resibong binigay. The rebond is the sideline of Noel, ganon pla sila don kanya kanyang sideline. This day I washed my hair oct 26 2012. Parang walang nangyari sa hair ko, walang rebond walang curl, wala… Just super dry hair, super brittle, nag puputol putol yung hair ko, sobrang lumala as in parang walis, my solution, cut my hair up to my neck. It’s ok to pay additional if gaganda naman ung hair, but sadly to say disaster ang Nakuha ko sa hair to go… Lesson learned… Don’t go to the unknown cheap salon for your hair treatment, Sayang Lang sa money, waste of time… Grabe nangyari sa hair ko. I love my hair, dahil sa pag titipid Nawasak hair ko. Hayup na hair to go, I was planning to call them, but I read ung reaction and what happend to you, never mind nalang.

      mga liars sila kung di lang sa deal walang para magpuntra sa kanila mga unproffesional sila sa mga costumer nila,and im sure marami pa sila mabibiktima talaga na mga tao.

    Grabe talaga ang Hair To Go na yan. I really regret na dun ko pa naisipan magparebond! Sobrang waste of time, money, and waste of energy din ang paghabol sa pera mo dahil ultimo yung may-ari, kaharap na nga, nagdedeny pa! Wala talagang kwenta sobra.. That’s why I made this blog to let everybody know about them para wala na sila mabiktima pa.

    Ako yun friend ng author dito, and yes I can attest this is all true. Mahilig ksi ako mg take advantage ng promo sa online deals and tinitignan ko din yun location para convenient kung saan malapit saken. So since i work in Ortigas and St Francis lng nmn plus cheap e I gave it a shot n dn. Si Noel ang stylist ko. He seemed friendly and energetic. So madali ko sya nkagaanan ng loob. But when he started bragging about himself and run down his resume, and dissing the salon (and the owner), I knew there’s something wrong, but I just listened (from right ear to left). So (kunwari)nag run din xa ng test sa hair ko kung pede sa hot digital perm, but of course in the end sabi nia hndi, with the same reason na hndi pa daw pede hot perm yun hair ko, cold perm lng ksi damaged p dw e hello! more than 2 yrs n ko nagparebond at nagpa cellophane. So xmpre hndi ko na pinilit dhil natakot dn ako bka may mangyari p sa hair ko. But I really think tinatamad lng xa ksi mas ma-trabaho ang hot perm and malamang nagtitipid din sa kuryente yun salon. Take note,sa upstairs nia din ako niyaya na dun nia gagawin yun treaments, yun pala may mga sidelines xa na hndi alam ng salon. ang sbi nia bibigyan nia dw ako ng treatment na maganda, so ako nmn cge ksi he never mentioned of the cost at ang alam ko e may ksama “Organic Treatment” yun promo. Then sbi nia cut nia dw ang hair ko, ako nmn yoko tlga mgpa cut ng hair ksi okay n saken yun haba pro since wla din xa namention na cost e cge lng dn ako. Nagulat n lng ako na may bayad pla lhat after n tapos na gawin. Sbi nia 500php daw. 400 sa gamot at 100 sa haircut. So sbi ko sknya, di ba may ksama treatment yun promo? Sbi nia “wala mam”, perm lng tlga. So I took his words bka ksi naguluhan lng ako. Yun sa haircut nmn e hndi na ko umimik ksi tapos na at mas expensive dw yun cost pg sa salon msmo mgbabayad.
    Nga pla, I wanted dn sna mgpa cellophane by that time kya lng pinipigilan nia ko ksi dw tinitipid nga ang gamot dun at sobra dw mahal. Wala dn dw brand ang mga products dun, bsta n lng dw dumadating e nka pack na. Walang tatak kung anung Brand. Then he offered me na xa na lng ang gagawa ng hair color ko with treatment, home service dw for 2k. And take note he’s asking for downpayment na..half dw so that’s 1k sana. Buti n lng at hndi ako nagbigay. (Well, wla nmn ako plan mgbigay dhil nga duda na ko sknya at sa products) Sbi ko n lng itetext ko n lng xa. So nun natuyo na hair ko xmpre prang wala lng, as in wla lng nangyare. Walang kulot or wave mn lng. After 3 days e bumuhaghag nga. So i called Priscilla sbi ko babalik ako, which was okay lng nmn sknya. Then I texted Noel and we agreed on rebond or permanent blow dry n lng gagawin saken. I corrected him din na may ksama organic treatment yun promo. And so pumayag n ko sa blow dry at nagpa haircut na din ako. But I told him na this time I’m not paying a single penny. OO nmn xa agad. Pero as we go by unti unti nanaman xa nagse sales talk saken ng gamot, haircolor etc. Sbi ko e wala ako dalang pera at yun hair color pg iicpan ko pa. At bumawi muna xa. At ilan beses ko tlga pina ayus ang gupit ko gang hndi ako satified. May isa pa xa customer nun kya cguro oo lng xa sa lhat ng demands ko. Nagpapasikat cguro. Tas ayun, hindi ko na inexpect n gaganda ang hair ko after 3 days but it was “okay lng” near to my normal hair condition before I first went there. I guess it’s because nagpa cut ako ng ng hair up to my neck e ang nilagyan lng nmn ng gamot nun nagpa perm ako e yun from shoulder below lng. But still I feel very dissatisfied ksi waste of time tlga at sayang din ang 999php ko. Buset!

    At nga pla, I swear yun Tin na may ari yun andun at that time, ksi I confirmed sa iba nilang empleyado dun. I was upstairs ksi tas nsa baba yun Tin, nakinig muna ko sa mga usapan nila. Jun and Lyn were telling lies. Sbi ni Lyn minumura dw xa ng friend ko which she never did and she will never do or ksi si Lyn yun inaasahan nia na mgsasabi sa may ari ng mga comments nia so why would she do that? And Jun was saying na nagwawala dw sa galit ang friend ko e ang gusto lng nmn ng friend ko e makausap directly ang may ari. I’m sure takot na takot sila na malaman ng may ari ang truth at whole story. Ksi nga nagmumura dw tlga yun may ari. At binabawas sa sweldo nila pg may customers na bumabalik pra ipaayus yun gawa.
    Hindi ko na lng din pinilit na xa si Tin tlga yun may ari at sbihin na msmo ang empleyado nia nag confirm ksi bka madamay pa e wla nmn kinalaman yun tao. Tsaka she was lying to death na hindi xa yun may ari, sister lng dw xa at out of the country dw yun kapatid nia. Napadaan at blowdry lng dw xa ksi may lakad xa. O di ba? Bka takot na takot na din xa and cguro brain washed na din xa ng mga liars niang empleyado!

    yes mga liars talaga sila,lalo na yung name na priscilla dun,talagang kung hindi lang sa deal hindi para puntahan pa yun ng mga tao.na experience din namin last saturday.digital perming kami ginawa lang nilang permanent blow dry,niloloko lng nila ang mga tao,dapat talaga wala ng magpunta sa hair to go.grabe sila after 2 days lng balik na ulit ang buhok ko sa dating wavy,isa pa ang tipid nilang maglagay ng gamot,may voucher na nga kmi gus2 pa nila mag dagdag kmi ng tag 500.00 pesos ng kasama ko,hindi namin sila bingyan ng additional pa na 500.00 dahil sa voucher namin bayad na yun,kaya sana lng wag na kayong magpa ayos ng buhok sa hair to go,kasi hindi maganda ang service nila.charge to experience na lang ang nangyari sa amin.super liit ng pwesto at ang malupit pa sa 3 costumer nila isa lang ang gagawa ng hair nyo,grabe pa sila dumating kami ng 10:00 am ng saturday ngopen pa salon nila ng 12:00 noon grabe ka bad trip talaga,mga unprofessional…

      nung hindi namin sila binayaran ng additional na 500.00 sa voucher,tnext pa nila kami na makonsensya kami.sino ang dapat makonsensya sa ginawa nila sa buhok namin,mga liar may balik naman sa kanila yang pang loloko nila sa mga tao…

    i went there this morning for my digi perm appoinment. dumating ako ng 10am, appoinment is 10:30am. the salon is still close. waited for 45mins.. nun ngbukas na, wala daw ung gagawa ng digiperm… so disappointed! now, after reading this thread, nagdadalawang isip nko if i’ll come back to them. sayang ang 999.00 or bka mas masayang ang hair ko?! kainis…

      Naku sis.. Baka magsisi ka lang if itutuloy mo pa sa Hair To Go. Love your hair sis… Sayang nga ang voucher pero if masisira naman ang hair mo, mas masstress ka lang and mas mapapagastos ka to repair yung damage na magagawa nila sa hair mo.

    I had a nightmare with this salon. The experience was so horrible, my sister gave me a voucher as Christmas gift, I went there December where my sister already made a reservation, when I arrived they told me there was no reservation, when I called back Jan 15 as scheduled I was told that the person who booked my reservation is no longer working there. They had such the worst service ever. I will never recommend them to anyone.
